​MCCDO adopted the Kokstad's Tourism Organisation (KTO) in March 2013 and since August 2013, KTO has been operating as a division of the MCCDO as the official CTO (Community Tourism Organisation) recognised by Greater Kokstad Muncipality, Harry Gwala District Municipality and the Provincial Department for Tourism. MCCDO and KTO firmly believe that tourism has the potential to create synergy and cohesion in the community and promote local economic development. The MCCDO is working closely with all stakeholders to help showcase and share our incredible town, community and countryside with visitors from near and far.
